What is Basware Insights Essentials?
Basware Insights Essentials is for companies who want to get visibility into their Accounts Payable processes.
What is Basware Insights Pro?
Basware Insights Pro takes AP data visibility a step further by leveraging advanced Gen AI to provide deeper, strategic insights that drive long-term value.
What is new in Insights?
Basware Insights provides a next-level user experience. It has a lean user interface, more dashboards, and more precise KPI calculations.
In addition, the Pro version is available with Gen AI for an exceptional user experience.
With the new Insights, customers can unlock an additional service—Data Access—designed to deliver raw data for deeper analysis and seamless integration with other systems. Available in two service levels, Essentials and Pro, Data Access can be acquired by existing customers to enhance their Insights experience.
What is included in my offering?
As an existing customer, you get a free technical upgrade to your equivalent solution.
- Existing Analytics customers are upgraded to Insights Essentials dashboards.
- Existing Insights customers are upgraded to Insights Pro dashboards.

Is it possible to get the Pro data access with the Essentials dashboards ?
No, that is not possible. The Pro data access always comes with the Pro dashboards. The Pro version enables wider access to data, both through dashboards and the data access APIs.
When can I get New Insights?
New Insights has been enabled for a smaller group of customers as a Beta version for co-creation purposes. New Insights will be enabled post-General Availability (GA) in a phased manner to all Analytics and Insights customers. We are targeting to start the roll-out towards the end of Spring 2025.
